MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international progress into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, his smash hit of 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., located in Medellin, a Sony distribution company. It reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, the singer teamed with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that was which was a Top Five hit. In 2020 he released the album that charted Dopamina and co-wrote Mala Influencia with Noriel. He appeared later in 2021 performing a duet TINI on her top streaming track Maldita Foto. The year 2023 was when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in music-loving family. His older brother and mother are also musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. He started playing the guitar, saxophone the ukulele, and keyboard when he was an infant. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian advised him to go for singing lessons from an Cuban instructor. As a result personally discovering his talent as a performer changed the direction of his life.
