Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana loves the operas and tangos as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. Ana began learning to sing and play music in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal vocal training when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. When she moved into America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is passionate about performing, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able bring to others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations keep the tradition alive.
